A Note on iKids-Growth
In September 2025, we were notified by regulatory authorities of a manufacturing quality issue involving certain batches of iKids-Growth distributed in the United States. The issue was limited to the manufacturing process and did not involve the product formulation, underlying science, or clinical findings. Products distributed in other markets were not affected
Our response
Upon notification, we immediately stopped distribution of the affected products and, in coordination with regulatory authorities, initiated a voluntary recall of the relevant batches.
We subsequently restructured our supply chain and strengthened quality controls across every stage of production. Our third-party testing protocol, in place since the product’s launch, includes SGS verification covering 35 hormone markers and 29 contaminant parameters, including microbial contaminants, heavy metals, and pesticides.
Following this incident, we added an additional layer of independent testing for growth-promoting substances, conducted by a specialized laboratory using WADA-level trace-detection standards. Every batch must now complete the full testing protocol before release.
Current availability in the U.S.
The iKids-Growth products now available in the United States are from entirely new production batches. Each batch is supported by a complete set of testing reports and is supplied in newly upgraded packaging.
We continue to cooperate fully with the relevant regulatory authorities and remain committed to meeting all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
What remains unchanged
The formulation and scientific basis of iKids-Growth remain unchanged. Our completed randomized controlled trial (ChiCTR2300071632) demonstrated a strong safety profile, with no significant adverse events observed.
